How to get to Taormina
Al Duomo is at Via Damiano Rosso 2, in Piazza Duomo, in the heart of the old town. Here is how to reach us.
From Catania airport
Catania Fontanarossa airport (CTA) is the closest: about 65 km, an hour’s drive along the A18 motorway.
Private transfer
A certified driver meets you at arrivals and takes you to Taormina in about an hour. We can arrange it for you.
Direct bus
Buses connect the airport with the Via Pirandello terminal in about 1 hour 20 minutes; from there the Duomo is about 15 minutes on foot along Corso Umberto.
Train
From Catania Aeroporto station the train reaches Taormina-Giardini; then town bus or taxi up to the centre.
By car
From the A18 motorway take the Taormina exit and follow signs to the centre and to the Porta Catania car park. The old town is a limited traffic zone: leave your car at the car park and walk to us in about 5 minutes.
On foot, from Piazza Duomo
Once in Piazza Duomo, facing the Cathedral, take the downhill street on the right: after a few metres you’ll find us on the left, at Via Damiano Rosso 2.
The entrance is reached by an outdoor staircase and there is no lift: keep this in mind if you have heavy luggage.
